Craps Overview
Craps is a game in which players make decisions on the outcome of dice. Players take turns as the 'shooter' rolling two dice. Each round has two phases: the “come-out” roll and making or passing a “point”. A come-out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called “craps” and anyone betting on the pass line loses. A come-out roll of 7 or 11 is a “natural” and is a winner on the pass line. The other possible numbers are the point numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. If the shooter rolls one of these numbers on the come-out roll, this makes the “point” – to “pass' and must be rolled again before a 7 to “win”. Importantly each Dice or Craps game includes 4 Dealers or Croupiers, 1 for each base, a stickman and a relief dealer.
A Craps game is often recognized on a casino floor by the cheering and small crowds it attracts. For many, Craps stands as the most interactive, challenging and engaging games that you can play and learn to deal.
